We ask for a donation for attendance at field and certain other events and suggest R100 for adults and R20 for children 11 years and younger, with the option of donating R300 PER FAMILY for an annual subscription in July each year.

Some venues will also require an entrance fee which must be paid by each individual. 

For field trips we will supply vials, magnifiers, plastic pill bottles and some other basic collecting equipment, but please bring your own if you have as well as any reference books, a picnic lunch, adequate water, a hat and good walking shoes.

Durban Spider Walk

A fun-filled day out for the whole family in the beautiful Palmiet Nature Reserve. Here we will explore the different environments high and low for spiders, we will learn about them and their homes and get some great shots of them too! Bring your camera along if you want to take some pictures.
Make sure to bring some snacks, sunscreen and hat, and water to get you through the day. Bring along friends and family to share the knowledge of these fantastic creatures.
