Bloemfontein Spider Walk

5 December 2021 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Bring the family and friends for a morning walk through the Free State National Botanical Garden, looking for spiders, learning new things, seeing new spiders, and meeting new people.
Bring a hat, proper walking shoes, water, snacks, and sunscreen. There is a restaurant at the gardens for those who want to eat there.
A limited number of nets and vials will be available. Some magnifiers will also be provided. If you have your own equipment, bring them. For photographers, remember your camera. Bring a field guide if you have one.
The cost to attend the walk is R50 for adults and R10 for children under 12. The entrance fee to the gardens will have to be paid separately (adult R35, student R25, pensioner R30, child R15).
We meet at the entrance of the garden in the parking lot.
