We ask for a donation for attendance at field and certain other events and suggest R100 for adults and R20 for children 11 years and younger, with the option of donating R300 PER FAMILY for an annual subscription in July each year.
Some venues will also require an entrance fee which must be paid by each individual.
For field trips we will supply vials, magnifiers, plastic pill bottles and some other basic collecting equipment, but please bring your own if you have as well as any reference books, a picnic lunch, adequate water, a hat and good walking shoes.

Night walk at Meyersdal Eco Estate

Join us for a night walk on Friday 13 November from 6-9pm at Meyersdal Eco Estate, 307 Hennie Alberts Street, Meyersdal, Alberton. Snacks and cool drinks will be available from 6 pm. If you want something stronger, there’s a cash bar. Please bring a torch for each person, headlamp torches work best. If you have a UV torch, bring that as well to search for scorpions. No entrance fee to the estate but remember to bring cash for the Spider Club attendance fee of R50 per adult and R10 per child.
