to find out more about the venue. We have booked a self-catering chalet (with electricity) which can accommodate 7 people at the Lakeview Holiday Resort in the reserve. Payment to be made to the Reserve on arrival at R200 pppn, or if you prefer to camp it is R60p/stand without electricity, R120p/stand with electricity. R30 p/person day visitor or R60 p/person overnight. This looks like an absolutely wonderful and arachnologically unexplored area with wide open grassland, clumps of trees and of course the dam. So come along. Join us for a great weekend away or just come for the day. Whichever you decide remember this is a self-catering weekend.
**If you were following The Spider Club Facebook page last year you will remember that Joanie is the lady who revived Angel the baboon spider that had been stung by a wasp. Joanie has invited us to visit all 18 baboon spider burrows at their house!
Keep your eyes on your e-mail and our Facebook page as other events may be organised, sometimes at short notice. We will attempt to give you fair warning. And remember that Norman Larsen is at the Cape Union Mart Adventure Centre, Canal walk in Cape Town every Saturday 11h00–12h00 to demonstrate and talk about SPIDERS!
