We ask for a donation for attendance at field and certain other events and suggest R100 for adults and R20 for children 11 years and younger, with the option of donating R300 PER FAMILY for an annual subscription in July each year.

Some venues will also require an entrance fee which must be paid by each individual. 

For field trips we will supply vials, magnifiers, plastic pill bottles and some other basic collecting equipment, but please bring your own if you have as well as any reference books, a picnic lunch, adequate water, a hat and good walking shoes.

Rietvlei Spider Walk – Pretoria Sailing Club

Here we have the first spider walk of the month in Collaboration with Friends of Rietvlei. An epic walk and talk in the reserve near the Pretoria Sailing Club to find some amazing spiders and learn about them all as we go along.
Jarrod will be doing a talk on spiders and answering questions to people who are curious to learn more.
