Spider ID Course

July 25 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

It’s that time of year again where we do an ID course, helping you figure out how to distinguish between the common spider families in and around your homes!

We will be examining different spider specimens through microscopes and learning which characteristics separate them from other spiders, as well as the different groupings of different families of spiders.
A bonus is that we all get to take a peak at the National Collection of Arachnida! This is where all collected specimens are kept that have been described and even lots that are yet to be described!
We ask for a donation of R100 per person and R50 for kids under 12.
