We ask for a donation for attendance at field and certain other events and suggest R50 for adults and R10 for children 11 years and younger, with the option of donating R150 PER FAMILY for an annual subscription in July each year.
Some venues will also require an entrance fee which must be paid by each individual.
For field trips we will supply vials, magnifiers, plastic pill bottles and some other basic collecting equipment, but please bring your own if you have as well as any reference books, a picnic lunch, adequate water, a hat and good walking shoes.

Western Cape Spider Walk
April 10 @ 8:30 am - 2:00 pm
On Sunday, 10 April 2022, join Dr Odette Curtis and Jarrod Todd for a spider walk and adventure at Haarwegskloof Renosterveld Reserve.
A walk in the wild plains of Renosterveld just outside Napier – a beautiful area with plenty life to explore. A fun day out for the whole family to join in. Come and learn about our 8-legged friends and meet like-minded people.
Meet at the Research and Visitor centre (GPS -34.338135, 20.326525) at 08:30 and remember to bring a hat, sunblock, water and snacks.
We ask a donation for the event that will go toward setting up more of these events and hopefully some exciting items in the future: R50/adults and R10 for kids under 12.
To book, contact Jarrod on Whatsapp 067 833 2191 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please remember when booking to provide your cell phone number for last minute communication and let us know how many people will attend.
Keep your eyes on your e-mail and our Facebook page as other events may be organised, sometimes at short notice. We will attempt to give you fair warning. And remember that Norman Larsen is at the Cape Union Mart Adventure Centre, Canal walk in Cape Town every Saturday 11h00–12h00 to demonstrate and talk about SPIDERS!
