We ask for a donation for attendance at field and certain other events and suggest R100 for adults and R20 for children 11 years and younger, with the option of donating R300 PER FAMILY for an annual subscription in July each year.
Some venues will also require an entrance fee which must be paid by each individual.
For field trips we will supply vials, magnifiers, plastic pill bottles and some other basic collecting equipment, but please bring your own if you have as well as any reference books, a picnic lunch, adequate water, a hat and good walking shoes.

Spider walk: Cumberland Private Nature Reserve, Pietermaritzburg

Day visitors are not normally allowed so we have arranged for a spider walk on Monday 26 April for KZN members. No Spider Club charge but there is a once-off conservation fee of R45.00 per person to be paid on arrival. John Roff is a spider fundi and a nature guide for Cumberland Nature Reserve. He has seen such specials as Pasilobus (bird dropping araneid) and Cladomelea (bolas spider) there. I hope you can join us!
