We ask for a donation for attendance at field and certain other events and suggest R100 for adults and R20 for children 11 years and younger, with the option of donating R200 PER FAMILY for an annual subscription in July each year.

Some venues will also require an entrance fee which must be paid by each individual. 

For field trips we will supply vials, magnifiers, plastic pill bottles and some other basic collecting equipment, but please bring your own if you have as well as any reference books, a picnic lunch, adequate water, a hat and good walking shoes.

Durban Spider Walk

Join us on a spider walk in the stunning Krantzkloof Nature Reserve in Kloof, as we search high and low for the incredible spiders on this amazing wild property. Come on out for a fun day for the whole family, learning about these super interesting creatures as we go along.
We ask a donation of R100 per adult and R50 for kids under the age of 12. This includes the reserve fees of R60 per adult and R30 for kids.
